We are pleased to announce the beta 2 of GPS Tools v3 release. This release includes a feature to clear the generated cache files of tracks so that they can be recreated on next access. This will help the administrator to recreate the waypoint table data for GPX tracks module as well as recalculate the statistics/data of the selected tracks.
We also updated the GPX Tracks module to use CJLib v1.1.5 and fixed bugs reported on forum. Please make sure you have CJLib component latest version installed before installing the module.

We are pleased to announce Community Polls v2.0.10.
In this release we have added new support for tow new comment systems: IntenseDebate and Disqus, We also added new built-in module positions to publish modules in selected custom locations on poll pages. Please see documentation for available list of module positions here .
Please note that the old module positions available in CP v1 are no longer supported. Please update the module positions of your modules according to the new template layouts.
NOTE: You need CJLib component v1.1.4 or later to use this version.

Please update to the latest release if you want to allow public users to view results after taking the survey.

We are pleased to announce v1.8.10 release of Community Answers. We have added a couple of new features along with few important bug fixes. Summary as follows.
We have replaced ShareThis integration with the AddThis sharing services. So now you need not enter your sharethis api key while we have added a separate configuration tab to select which sharing services you would like to show.
Now you can enter multiple administrator email addresses in admin notification settings so that all of them get email notifications.
The layout is tweeked a little to get some performance benefits along with minor UI glitches.

We are pleased to announce GPS Tools beta 2. Over the last few months we have been refactoring the entire code for performance improvements and better maintainability. Now we have the most advanced component for Joomla to showcase your GPX and KML tracks. Whats more? Now the component makes use of Google's new Maps v3 and Charts v3 APIs, and introucing the automatic elevation retrival from the webservices as well as caching system that enables the component to process the GPX/KML files once and use cached data from next requests. This will greatly improve the performance of the application. Here is the brief introduction of the new features and updates.
- New Google Maps v3 and Charts v3 support. Now you can get rid of deprecated old Google APIs.
- Automatic Elevation Retrieval: Missing elevation data in your GPX/KML files? Do not worry, the component will automatically get them from the webservices for you and stores in cache.
- Caching System: The data files will be processed once and used for subsequent requests. This will greatly reduces the usage of system resources as well as improves performance.
- New Track information table to display important information about the track
- New elevation profile and placemark details table for KML files
- Revamped UI: New look and feel for front-end
- CoreJoomla Library component support
- Selecting theme right from the configuration
- WYSIWYG and BBCode editor support improved

We are pleased to announce a new Community Polls plugin - Content Polls for Joomla Articles. This plugin can be used to embed any poll created in Community Polls to your Joomla articles or any text which process content plugins such as Community Answers description.
Embedding polls is now pretty simple, no JavaScripts and no hassles of allowing permissions to add scripts to your articles. Just add below code anywhere in your Joomla article and the plugin will takes care of the rest.

You can advanced parameters along with id such as container name, chart type, template name etc. The plugin supports all options that Community Polsl Anywhere function supports. Please see Anywhere documentation for advanced options configuration.
