We are pleased to announce the major revision of Crosswords component v2.0.0 for immediate availability to all existing members. For over three months of development time, we have added many exiting features and fixed few annoying issues in previous versions. Here is the list of major enhancements apart from the bug fixes.

• Redesign of crossword page to support dark themes
• UTF-8 languages support for Crossword questions/keywords
• CoreJoomla jQuery plugin v2.0.2 support
• Fixes issue with numbering of cross join cell
• Fixes the issue with selecting and solving cross join cells
• Performance improvements
• Keyboard events, now move cursor with keyboard arrow keys withing crossword grid
• Faster processing: The entire crossword logic is redesigned and is not only faster than previous one, but also takes takes very less database calls.
• New question helper area: Now a tooltip area shows selected question on top of the crossword grid, no need to look down for what the question you are answering
• Crossword description: Now you can add description for the crossword with either WYSIWYG editor or BBCode editor
• Improved bookmarking tools: No more sharethis API key is required. configurable buttons.
• Improved UI layout: Fully redesigned layout makes you feel more comfirtable
• Local theme selection: If you are using other corejoomla extensions, this will help you choose component specific theme

We are pleased to announce Community Polls final release candidate. Major highlights of this release includes

• Random Poll module update: Now you can add as many polls as you want on same page using Random poll module. Preview result option is added to the module. Now it also supposes almost all the features that the main component has.
• Category list as menu: The dash board now display the category list as template-aware multi-level menu instead of one level category list.
• Updated Poll Suggestions

As usual, number of bug fixes makes this release much more stable and getting ready for production sites. Please report any bugs on forum and help us release the stable version as soon as possible.

Note: CoreJoomla API component needs update to use the new version.

We are pleased to announce community surveys v1.7.6 release. This release addresses issues with CSV download functionality. The CSV file also added a new column "Survey Key" to identify the responses recieved.

We are pleased to announce the first release candidate of Community Polls v2.0. With this release any new features for CP are freezed in v2.0 branch only bug fixes will be made prior to stable release.

Here is the list of major functional enhancements for v2.0:

• Full rewrite of front-end
• Backend poll creation
• New dashboard page on front-end
• Improved Anywhere function to include multiple polls on same page, custom templates etc
• New in-build charts along with Google charts
• Improved bookmarking
• More control over poll creation process
• Color palletes to color each poll chart differently
• Poll ordering for listing on front-end
• New timeline graph
• Linking poll answers with urls
• Improved poll suggestions
• Natural search feature
• Edit poll from both front-end and back-end
• Tableless templates

And there are many small features added along with many bugs fixed over past few months to make the component much more powerful and feature rich.

The new version is no longer needs corejoomla jquery plugin, instead uses newly released CoreJoomla Framework API component. Please install CoreJoomla Framework API component before installing CP.
