  • Calendar popup not displaying, Incorrect Signature field text, other minor issues

    Hello, I have a few small issues I am having with the Community Surveys component that I am hoping can be fixed.

    1.  On the frontend for a survey, when clicking the calendar popup, it displays blank. See attached image for clarification.

    2.  On the frontend for a survey, the button text for a signature field shows "JCLEAR" instead of just "CLEAR".  Where can this be changed? I've already looked in the communitysurveys language file and didn't see it in there.  Added another picture for clarification.

    3.  If I have a survey page that is large enough to scroll, every time a user answers a question, the page goes back to the top of the survey.  It would be much more user-friendly if it would just stay where it was at after answering, is this possible, or just a bug maybe?

    4.  For a file upload survey question, what file types are accepted? I was able to attach a Word Document, but not a PDF.  Also, is there a way to specify to the user what types are allowed?  And another issue related to this is that if a user uploads an incorrect file type, it displays an error which is fine.  But once they upload a correct file type, the error still displays.  Is there a fix for this?

  • Call to undefined method CJFunctions::load_component_language()

    Hi, I was using Community surveys for a long time, but after some joomla upgrade it has stopped working.

    When the user acceess the survey link they get the followng error

    Call to undefined method CJFunctions::load_component_language()

    These are the verisons used

    Joomla 3.9.8

    Community surveys 3.8.4

    CJLib API 2.8.9

  • Can't add conditional rules

    I tried to make an conditional rule (V4.0) but the messagebox keeps getting me an 'please wait' note. Nothing happens. Tried it in different browsers but no luck. Can you give me an hint?

  • Can't create more than 3 pages in a survey?

    Hi,

    I'm trying to add many new pages for a survey I'm creating but the "New Page" button doesn't seem to want to add more than 3?

    Is there a pre-requisite for adding new pages in a certain way please?

  • Cannot change order of question in a survey

    Hi Maverick, I'm trying to change the order of some questions in a survey (from admin panel). User-side everything seems to be correct : we can move a question in the list (drag/drop) and put it exaactly where we want, but the new order is not saved when we publish the survey. Could you have a look on that ?

  • Cannot Display Consolidated Report

    Folks,

    I am trying to display the consolidated report for a specific survery, id=1. I created a module for the consolidated report. I create a Joomla article with the tag. 99 is my module id. I created a menu item to the Joomla article. The link is www.soleilatlaurelcanyon.info/surveyreport. I have 11 responses so I expect to see a report.

    When I go to the mentioned link above, nothing displays. 

    Can you help me in resolving this issue?

  • cannot install pkg_cjlib_v2.4.2.zip

    Hello,

    After I installed Community Surveys, the message was "Please install CjLib component if not yet installed. Please enable the plugins from plugin manager."

    So I tried to install pkg_cjlib_v2.4.2.zip, and the message was above,

     

    I use Joomla! 3.4.8, I do all processes local, and I checked php.ini for the "Maximum allowed size for uploaded files",the size is 64mb.

  • Cannot save surveys after update to 5.5.12 CjLib 3.0.13

    After updating to the latest version, don't save changes to polls.

  • Cannot start a survey

    For demo purposes I tried to create a very simple survey and start by answering it.
    When clicking the start survey button, I always get an empty yellow message box.
    Looking at the page source, it tells me: "Your response contain errors which are highlighted in red. Please correct them and try again."However, at that point in the process there are no responses given, as I just try to start the survey.

    The situation occurs after a clean install of the component and after allowing public to answer queries. So it should not be a rights issue, which anyhow would be reported by another error message.
    Sadly, ever since updating beyond version 4.5.5, I have not been able to make a single survey work.

    Can you point me in the right direction on how to do this in the latest version ?

    I want to change the look of the email sent to the recipient of a private servey.
    Also, do I need to change the text on the popups that come when such
    e.g. finished with a servey.

    And all the other bugs texts.

    How do I do this, can not find the language ini file to change the text.

    ow do I get the Danish translation to work.

  • Community Survey - not able to edit questions from backend

    Hi there,

    I am unable to modify the Pages from the backend as when I select them from the dropdown list, the first page is loaded all the time. All the Q&A are also not loaded correctly (all remain identic to the first page´s Q&A).  Moreover, when accessing the survey I can navigate through the pages without any problem.

    I have tried using Chrome and IE with no success. I am running Community Survey Version 4.1 under Joomla 3.5.1 and php version 5.5.31. Attached you can find some snapshots of the issue. All the pages remain the same on the backend, even if when creating them, they were different (as you can see in the frontend). I am using single selction image questions with one question per page.

  • Community Survey Does not Update

    I am currently getting the following error when I try to upgrade to version 4.2.3.  We are running version 4.0.2

    Update path does not exist.

    Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.
     
    I followed the instructions and updated the CjLib package to 2.50, enabled it in the plugins and added the download ID to CjLib.  Afte that I went in to Joomla updates and selected the update and I keep getting the error above.  
     
    We are currently running Joomla 3.6.0
  • Community Survey hanging on "Please Wait"; receiving "noty is not defined" error

    Greetings,

    I have searched the forums for a solution to my issue and, though I have found posts related to it, there doesn't seem to be a solution posted. I was using Community Surveys without issue on a Joomla! 2.5 installation. I have recently upgraded to Joomla! 3.6.2 and installed the latest CJLib and Community Surveys packages. After finding the issues outlined below, I uninstalled Community Surveys and CJLib, reinstalling again. 

    I embedded a survey in an article and a few issues arise when viewing the article. See the article for yourself [here]:

    1. First I receive a PHP error above the survey welcome message: "Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/schwitte/public_html/backup_365/components/com_communitysurveys/helpers/route.php on line 53" (See attachments)
    2. Second, when I try to activate the survey, I receive only a "Please Wait" screen (see attachments). In the console I receive the following error(s):

  • Community Survey response allow user to edit after submitting

    Hi,

    I there any way for me to allow the user to edit their response after they have completed the survey. Or when they view their own survey result, where they can somehow make changes to it?

  • Community Surveys - Conditional Rule skip to empty page

    Hi Maverick,

    I have a 6 page public survey with a (Yes/No) radio question on page 1 with a rule set to skip to page 6 if the answer is No.

    Page 6 is a simple single multiline text area question.

    The rule does skip the user to page 6 however the page is empty.

  • Community Surveys - Internal Server Error ?

    Hi Maverick!

    I wonder if you could possibly help me with one issue I am having with Coomunity Surveys even though my subscription ended a couple of weeks ago. You see, I am getting the "Internal Server Error" when I try to start a Survey... but the strange thing is that it happens only when I have a DESCRIPTION under some questions of a survey, otherwise there is no error!
