I installed Community Surveys Pro and started wirth a survey on the frontend.

Everything worked fine until I wanted to add questions - the site is just empty.

It's also strange that everything is transpated in German except the "Edit Questions"-link.

I added the questions in the backend - no problem - and try to hit the "Edit Questions" link on the frontend. Same empty result as before.

What's wrong?

Question 2:

I have 20 possible answers but I want the user just to select exactely 4 (not more, not less), can I do this?

Question 3:

Out of the 4 answers the user selected before, I would like to put them in the next question in a ranking system. Can I do this?

Example: What are your 5 favoured colours?

white
blue
orange
red
yellow
green
purple
pink
black

You selected these 4 colours. put them in a rank:

purple (top position = 5 points)
green (2nd position = 4 points)
orange (3rd position = also 4 points)
white (4th position = 2 points)

I've been looking for a way to send reports or thank-you-mails to the users that took the survey after completing. (Even the ones that aren't registred at the site but entered an email-adress in the survey) Is there a way to do so?

Maybe you can add a email-template which can read a specific field out of the survey (maybe by id or name of the field with a placeholder) and add a script that triggers an email-send-event after the survey is completed and written to the database? As soon as I know there should be already an event for the mail to the survey-owner.

And in case it works: it would be very helpful if I could add other data from the survey to the mail (e.g. the surveykey or some answers that were given).

Just to know: I wrote a skript that evaluates the data out of a survey and renders some charts. To show the results to the user he needs the survey-key and I haven't figured out a way to get them the key automatically.

is there a way to create a new custom Invitation Email template and relate it to a specific survey?

Doing so, when you select "Invite" for a survey, I'll get immediately the right invitation email without having to override the basic "email invitation template".

Any idea?

Using the Surveys in Article capability, a user can go to a public webpage that has a survey that they do not have permission to take. 

When that happens, they get a message displayed "You are unauthorised to respond to this survey"

But they also get the END OF SURVEY MESSAGE displayed that was setup on the survey. Also, if message is empty, the empty box shows. See picture below.

I know it's a defect. Can you tell me what file and line number I can edit to comment out/remove that message from appearing when the "You are unauthorized to respond to this survey" message is displayed.

HEy Hey how's it going I've just published a survey but am getting an error when publishing it I've got the error its self is:

error: 0 Call to undefined function GuzzleHttp idn uri convert()

I've tried looking but haven't found a solution

I am facing survey responses issue as shown in the attach image.

There is am error shown:

An error has occurred.

 1054 Unknown column 'c.state' in 'where clause' SQL=SELECT u.id AS value, u.name AS text FROM #__users AS u INNER JOIN #__survey_responses AS c ON c.created_by = u.id WHERE (c.state = 0 OR c.state = 1) GROUP BY u.id, u.name ORDER BY u.name

I install for the first time it get this error and i try to uninstall the whole survey and reinstall it show the same error message.

I am using Joomla version 3.6.

Please help!

Working on with one survey where I'm testing with MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) (a personality test which need apply online to the employees/candidates of one organization) need display the results in a chart using other extension (vChart) I'm facing the problem trying to group the answer of the survey due several of them are representing a "letter code" (EISNTFJP) like in the screenshot attached.

So I was wondering if possible add an extra and unique field for each "answer_id" so this should be added in the table "sflxe_survey_response_details". That should be very useful in case you want count answer that match with the value of this field.

PD: I would love pay an extra value for ths update in case you can include quickly this ammendment.

I have been trying to install this extension and the dependency today in Joomla 3.5.1.

I initially installed by using the Upload Package File method, which failed, producing this error:-

Fatal error: Class 'CjLibLoader' not found in /htdocs/components/com_cjlib/framework.php on line 14

So after being unable to remove the extension due to not being able to access Extensions>Manage>Manage due to the above error, I manually disabled all of these extensions and attempted to install via uploading to the /tmp/ directory. Again, everything appears to install Ok, then I run into this error again.

It seems this comes from /libraries/cjlib/loader.php - which looks OK.

Reset database, removed files, try again...

I then decided to do something insane - applied 777 permissions to absolutely everything, in the hope it would install. I tried using the upload package method as well as installing from /tmp/ directory. Nope, same damn error. 

I then reset my database (for the zillionth time today...) and unzipped each package and installed each package, one at a time. Everything went well....you guessed it, same error comes back.

I see nothing wrong with the loader.php declaration of this class.

The error displays sitewide on the frontend, and also in Components > CjLib API and Community Surveys, as well as from the Manage menu.

The Joomla admin shows both CjLib API and CjLib Library are installed and enabled.

Any ideas? Unfortunately this is an offline server therefore cannot be accessed remotely.

Wher does it place the uploaded files and can the location be changed to be out of the public root?

Internal server error after clicking "finish" button at end of survey, URL redirect doesn't work regardless or selecting show or not show report and when it's selected on it still doesn't show a report. Please advise a.s.a.p..  Cheers!

until now at other Joomla! vendors it was usual to me that I get an confirmation mail immediately as ticket or other kind of message.

Did you receive my support inquiry from below? (only partially repeated)

Either switch to German or to English, frontend and backend, only your component shows no reaction in my site.

I am sad, because a long time ago I gave up with your never good working stuff, then I was a long time too sick.

Just now I renewed your survey component with the hope it would be better than before.

And now? It doesn't work and because all other parts in my site which I began new are working fine thus I have no further ideas.

Please help me fast to show me that your component can work well like the other components.

Google has started indexing urls like the following:

and then reporting them as server 500 errors to be fixed.

Any ideas where they're finding these url's and how I stop them indexing them?

This is my first survey and I have published it and I managed to send an email (to myself to test). When I click on the link it is blank. I have updated eveything.

Hi

I updated CjLib to 2.3.8 and community survey plugin from v3.x to v4.3.5.

After that I activated the Migration tool as instructed and got the message that survey migration was successful. 

But Tag migration, shows me "Invalid option" .

the old existing surveys are shown on the back-end

but, when I click on Edit questions I can't add new questions, the same problem if I create a new survey

and there are multiple lines of Warning that say "Can't load editor".

I'm new to Joomla in general, so apologies if this is something obvious that I overlooked.  I have created a survey with community surveys, and added a menu item that links to that single survey.  However, when I go to that menu item, above the survey is a section with tags in it such as "All Surveys", "Popular Surveys", and a search function.  I have attached an image example of what I mean. Is there a way to remove this section?

how can I turn off this feature:

show related surveys after completing survey response?

I need to hide the two red Account and Discover buttons on a survey page as it will confuse our usres.

The CSS Selectors must target these buttons very specifically since  using any css selector we could construct would hide the buttons but would also hide other content in Community Builder and likely elsewhere.

We really need a way to not show these items. Can you provide a solution?
