the PDF file that comes with the email is a bit confus. When you scroll down it jumps strange from one site to an other. Can you fix it or tell me what the problem is?

This warning appears at the top of all admin pages in the Community Survey component:

Warning: fopen(virtualcron.txt): failed to open stream: Permission denied in [redacted]/components/com_cjlib/framework/virtualcron.php on line 53

I'm not sure how problematic that is, but I hope there is a way of getting rid of it. I've tried changing ownsership and permissions on virtualcron.txt,  but nothing makes that warning go away.

Thank you in advance for your professional support, as usual!

I have a couple observations about the operations within CS and their related impact and hope that you are able to clarify the correct application -

1) Category Permissions:
(a) "Access Component": This seems to be a new option under Category Permissions.  Could you clarify what the function is and how it works?
(b) Account/My Surveys: My understanding is that this lists all the surveys the user has created.  A link for "Edit" seems to be displayed regardless of whether the user is given permission to "Edit" or "Edit Own" even though CS does render a message along the line of "Edit not permitted" if the user does not have the proper level of permission.  Is this an intended behavior?  It may be best if the option for "Edit" is only shown if the user has the proper authorization but understand if there are system limitations at this time.
(c) Advanced Search: It appears that all categories are listed for search option regardless of whether the user has been given permission for those categories.  My understanding is that search results would only show the categories users have permission for but this would not be ideal as some of these categories may either be private or confidential.

2) Archived Surveys:
(a) Accessibility: It appears that surveys past the Finished Dates are no longer accessible to users in spite of having proper access rights.  I would like the reports to be accessible for reference as there is definitely value in these until I decide to retire the sometime in the future.  I would want to make sure these surveys cannot be edited after the Finish Dates though. Could you confirm how this could be accomplished?
(b) Survey Counts: As it stands now, surveys that are past the Finish Dates are still being counted as shown below even though they are no longer accessible.  This could potential cause a lot of confusion to end users.  Could you kindly take a second look?

Hi, I tried to print a blank survey (without answers) form Chrome and place each question in one page, there is a way to print or export the entire survey (without answers) to paper or pdf?

I have problems in Community Surveys :

1. When I use Conditional Rules, selected conditional dropdown/combobox cannot appear at fornt-end
2. How to coloring Star Rating? default color is just black&white

Hi there,

I got the newest version of your Community Survey extension for Joomla and experienced some problems:

1. The conditional fields are working fine on the first page of my survey, but not on the third one. Seems like the "hideme"-class isn't added to the panel element, so the question is always shown. Is this a known bug and are there any solutions to this?

2. The Dropdowns are kind of behind the next panel-element. So the choices are mostly hidden, what's kind of a big problem. Maybe there is a problem with the z-index?

I have set the rights to Public authorised to Respond to Surveys (see image enclosed)
The community Surveys version is 5.1.6
The survey is not private and has Public access (see image enclosed).
The survey should be displayed through menu item, with public access. (see image enclosed)

What else should be done?

The website is protected by htpasswrd which I can send in private message if you need.

Hello! I would like know if possible have questions without title since I'm developing a survey where 20 questions are of selections between 2 choices (A or B) as a preference. I realized in all the questions the title is mandatory especially for Single Selection (radio).

I'm trying to replicate the attached set of questions without title... (sorry but is in spanish)

Just a quick questions: Can questions within Community Surveys be numbered?

If YES, how and where do I define that?

If NOT, why not?!

How DO I make a survey live?

I get the following error message.

• RC 7: The survey is not yet live. Please wait for some time or contact administrator.

When Recaptcha 2 is enabled, after satisfying the "I am not a Robot" questions, when "Start Survey" is clicked, we get an Internal server error message (see attached).  The Console message is: POST /component/communitysurveys/surveys?Itemid=679&format=json

Hi, I have a 6 Surveys created and I have added in a Redirect URL but when I submit it does not go to the URL. The form submits and then stays on the survey page and shows a thank you message. Is there somewhere else that I need to enable the redirect option?

If not can youlet me know why this is not working?

1. When guests are filling in there emailadress and name, it is possible to create a Joomla user at the same time?

2. When a user is logged in, is it possible that in CS the name/username and emailadress filled in automatically?

First of all I would like to say THANK YOU for a wonderful product.  I would not be able to have arranged a competition for our community without this component:o)))
I started using this last year and it worked great!!!

Now this year I do have one question.....

I have created some new surveys but I have a message displaying in the bottom of the survey page, and I have no idea how I did this last year:o(((  I would like to edit this message, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere... I looked wherever I thought it could be but with no luck.

Can you maybe help me and tell me where this message can be found so that I can edit it?

Can anyone help me....????

I have a Survey and the report for it is fine, however Im now needing to produce reports specifically linked to

particular answers. 

For Eg.

My Question 1 may say :- Which Site Did you Visit?  (Now i can list the sites as possible answers as per norm)

But id like to then get just the report for people who selected Site A for example.

I can see this also then becoming an 'IF AND' query 

Ie Question 2 is :- Who was your guide? (with a drop list to select the name)

So i may wish to get the normal report but only for the reponses that meet the critera

Answer 1 x AND Answer 2 Y

Any Ideas?

Hi, I've installed Community Surveys 3.8.4 following instructions on Joomla 3.4.4.

I've 3 issues for You:

1) Even if my Survey is "Public" and "Anonymous" and menù voice is Public, I can see the Survey only once logged in.

2) Once logged if I click on the button "Next" after selecting the answer, nothing happens, I can only click to "cancel" to go back.

3) In control panel I see CS4.0.0 available but I can't download it from your site.
