The issue is caused by conflicting jquery library being loaded after all other scripts are loaded. You need to resolve jquery conflicts by removing multiple jquery instances... -

If I change the default layout I'll get bug with hidden comments back. I'd prefer to change something in the tmplview . Something like write class -

The issue was caused by the incorrect layout setting. Your template is based on Bootstrap 4 but you have selected default (bootstrap2) layout and hence the conflict with css.... -

When you have a class defined for same element browser decides which one prevail. The more detailed one will be chosen by most browsers. So change your css in your custom.css...
