This is not the issue with the component, rather the content you are posting. The image you copied is not an url of the image rather the entire image data in a base64 encoded... -

You need to set the value in the table column directly. Please see the table xxx_jcp_polls. -

Viewing access of topics has nothing to do with recent activities. Both are two different entities and you can change access to them separately. -

The issue happens when your translation file is incomplete, it automatically display English value.Make sure all entries in your file are translated. -
