Hi Can you help me? I have now re-added all my categories and my surveys have re-appeared. I am using v4. I can no longer find the mandatory survey dashboard layout in this version. I have gone through the menu items and it isn't there. How do i set the dashboard to display the categories and latest surveys? Also, how do I fix those errors mentioned in my last post to this support request? Please can you help me as this is urgent. Mel -

Hi, I can submit article using the article from layout menu but when I click the Submit Article (refer to this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/8pf98i ) at the CJBlog Article Layout screen im receiving error as shown below: Not Found The requested URL /terms-of-use/promosandsales/article.edit was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. After updatings with version 3.6.0 to 3.8.4, an error occurs when you try to build a consolidated report on a survey that was programmed in the old version Sommunity Survey. Displays the message: Error code: 10251 query: select question_id, answer_id, column_id, count (*) as votes from #__survey_response_details where response_id in (select r.id from #__survey_responses r where r.survey_id = 1 and r.completed> r.created) group by answer_id, column_id order by question_id How to solve this problem? -

Why is this button displayed a second time?? can´t change anything in there...Installed the extension on a fresh joomla site and get the same button a second time -

Thanks for reply. Yes I was thinkling that may be thing because of which I am not able to see the result but because I was not able to access Quiz backend Menus I failed to work on it. Now issue is with the creating Question from the backend in the Quiz,Have you checked it what is the issue with it. Can you tell me how can I resolve it for my site. Thanks! -

Hi Maverick, I think I have already done th dammage with my surveys - I tried what you suggested but still no categories or surveys. I tried re-installing the old version. I noticed there is no longer a dashboard page in version 4 - is this correct? I have also installed the site on a test area now and followed your instructions to upgrade and these are the errors I get: /home/mysite/public_html/plugins/acymailing/communitysurveys/communitysurveys.php Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/mysite/public_html/components/com_communitysurveys/models/mysurveys.php on line 582 Notice: Constant S_APP_NAME already defined in /home/mysite/public_html/plugins/acymailing/communitysurveys/communitysurveys.php on line 13 Mel -

These are not issues/bugs. You have not enabled the required options hence they are not shown. 1. You had not enabled "Show Answers" or "Show Report" option of your quiz and hence not shown. I changed the options of your quiz "MySQL Quiz" on your staging server and the result is showing. Please check. 2. It was caused by your custom code modifications. I reinstalled the component on your staging server and everything back to normal. -

Hi, Thanks for reply and help. After Upadating Community Quiz to latest version (4.1.1) ,I am getting issues as follows: 1.Not able to Acces toolbar of Quiz from the backend and also option using which we can set permissions to the Quiz you can check it also using backend login Credentials. 2.From the frontend when I play the Quiz result is not getting Displayed. Please Help me asap.Its very frustrating for me to check all the things again and again.Every time something getting wrong. I hope you are getting me. Thanks! -

Thanks for your reply,yes I have updated it to the latest vesion and My Quizzes list view issue is resolved.Creating Questions Under Quiz after login Issue is still there. Can you Please check it and tell me why I am getting problem when trying to create questions under Quiz i.e Question dont come when I click on question type, It comes If I refresh the page.I hope this time I'll get my Questions issue resolved. Thanks! -

You should always test beta versions on test site before using anywhere. Anyway, quick fix is install v3.8.4 and your surveys will be back. Then 1. install the component on your test site2. enable debug mode and error reporting in your global configuration3. now see what errors it show. -

I upgraded to v4 of community surveys and now I have broken the component. I get blank screens when I click on my surveys, or 404 errors, and the dashboard doesn't display properly any more. When I went into the backend, I found a migrate button so clicked on it and my surveys displayed in the back end, but still not in the front end. My survey module no longer works (I get a blank screen on the pages where my survey should appear i.e. at the top of my EasyBlog category. When I switched the error reporting on it pointed to the Community Surveys module. This is pretty urgent, can you advise me how to fix this? Kind regards Mel -

I have send you the details of my site along with steps to reach Webapp view where I am getting error when trying to quiz .I hope now you will find easy to resolve issue which I am getting when trying to create questions under quiz creation. Thanks! -

I believe my mail was not reached you. I was looking for website name as well in your mail. Anyway, I searched in your earlier mails and found your staging website. But unfortunately it has lot of errors shown on page and click on edit button on any quiz always takes me to 404 page. -

That's possible. Simply use rich textbox type question and insert your module using loadmoduleposition shortcode https://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_put_a_module_inside_an_article%3F -

Thanks for tracking down the problem. My customised responses form, default_form.php used the pageno variable to load questions to individual pages whereas I should have used the current variable as you spotted. Good support again. -

Hi, I have send you details of my site using contact us form to solve issue related creating quiestions under quiz from the webapp login still not resolved the issue i.e when I am trying to create question under quiz they doesnt apper imediatly but if I refresh them then question get appear and I think Its becuse of js error which I am getting on that page.So please try to resolve it asap. Thanks! -

Hi, this is a long shot. Is it possible to insert a module within a survey? I want to add the acymailing subscription module to my surevey so i can create a special mailing list for people who don't mind being followed up a few weeks later. Kind regards Mel
