No, you need to generate urls from the component only. You can manually generate as many urls as you need and use them for your apps.

Is there a way we can generate our own unique survey URL, instead of using the ones created by Community Survey? We want to link the survey to a registered user from another component. Is there a certain way the URL needs to be formatted. Thanks, Ed

Yes. The restrictions allow you to restrict multiple responses. It has nothing to do with user details. When the survey is onymous, it can capture logged in user details. The only case where the user details are captured even if user is not logged in is when you invite registered users from the component. The unique urls sent to users act as login information.

So when setting up a survey's restrictions to Username, that will also only work if the users are logging in. Is that correct?

We need to track who is taking the survey so after completing the survey they are redirected to a certificate with their custom information on it. Is there a way we can capture the User ID and User Name in the admin area or database. Thanks, Ed
