Here I am using JCE but I never faced this issue. I see there is an option "Active Tab" in JCE profile, check if that makes any difference. -

We clear our Cache frequently. And I have tested a fresh Safari-Installation too.I still have to toggle the editor every time I post a reply or topic. -
