OK I tried 777 on everything and got it installed. That is not normal though, correct? I deleted everything in my tmp folder after installing and survey component is working ok. Thanks -

HI, Just tell me what permissions to change. I don't need you in the admin panel of my website. I never allow that normally if it can be avoided. -

OK I give up. I actually uninstalled cjlib and community surveys. I need a fix. But Nothing I do allows me to update cjlib. My php ini is set to way larger upload limits than you recommend, but it wont't install. I get the error about size every time. I then uploaded to my tmp directly. No good, Joomla never 'sees' that there are valid install packages. I have tried uploading the pkg_ zip and then also unzipping it and uploading. Same problem each time. Warning JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file. Error Path does not have a valid package. Unable to find install package
