I have tried recreating the menu link but still same issue. Have cleared cache etc. In the backend the categories are still there. Can you help please Mel -

Hi, I have a couple of issues. I have installed latest Community Surveys and cjlib: 1. I can't seem to find a multi-selct list when creating a new field type (also, is there an option to set it as a multi-select dropdown list as I have a large number of options and it currently goes on and on down the page - this multi-select will have even more entries over time) 2. When a visitor tries to thake the survey, and click on Submit, it does nothing (some javascript errors appear in gchrome elements: jquery.min.js cj.surveys.min.js) 3. I am trying to insert an acymailing subscribe module within the survey - I followed your advice from a previous support request and created a rich text editor field then added {loadmodule, mymodule} - this just displays the tag and a text box. I have now installed nonumber modules anywhere and loaded the acymailing module within the rich text editor, but again it just dispaly the tag text. Can you help me? -

Hi Can you help me? I have now re-added all my categories and my surveys have re-appeared. I am using v4. I can no longer find the mandatory survey dashboard layout in this version. I have gone through the menu items and it isn't there. How do i set the dashboard to display the categories and latest surveys? Also, how do I fix those errors mentioned in my last post to this support request? Please can you help me as this is urgent. Mel -

Hi Maverick, I think I have already done th dammage with my surveys - I tried what you suggested but still no categories or surveys. I tried re-installing the old version. I noticed there is no longer a dashboard page in version 4 - is this correct? I have also installed the site on a test area now and followed your instructions to upgrade and these are the errors I get: /home/mysite/public_html/plugins/acymailing/communitysurveys/communitysurveys.php Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/mysite/public_html/components/com_communitysurveys/models/mysurveys.php on line 582 Notice: Constant S_APP_NAME already defined in /home/mysite/public_html/plugins/acymailing/communitysurveys/communitysurveys.php on line 13 Mel -

I upgraded to v4 of community surveys and now I have broken the component. I get blank screens when I click on my surveys, or 404 errors, and the dashboard doesn't display properly any more. When I went into the backend, I found a migrate button so clicked on it and my surveys displayed in the back end, but still not in the front end. My survey module no longer works (I get a blank screen on the pages where my survey should appear i.e. at the top of my EasyBlog category. When I switched the error reporting on it pointed to the Community Surveys module. This is pretty urgent, can you advise me how to fix this? Kind regards Mel -

Hi, I am using the survey form on some of my content pages but when a user clicks to take the survey it just hangs - nothing happens. If I go into Community Surveys/Options and turn on debugging, it seems to work. Additionally, when I click on reports and go to view consolidate reports I get the following error message: Anerroroccurredwhileprocessingyourrequest. Pleasetryagain My survey only has 2 questions (text responses). I have also tried other test surveys and I get the same problem. This is fairly urgent as its live. Can you help me? Kind regards Mel -

Hi Maverick, I am still having problems with modal boxes and now I can't even delete survey questions. None of the modal boxes seem to work properly and it doesn't look to good to my users. I get the following javascript error: Uncaught TypeError: $(...).modal(...).find is not a function http://www.wessexlifescience.co.uk/media/com_communitysurveys/js/cj.surveys.min.js Please can you help me solve this? You can see this by accessing: www.wessexlifescience.co.uk/Surveys user: core password: core01 Kind regards Mel -

Hi Maverick, I have changed the access levels so you can switch the login module off to test (as you wouldn't be able to login if I turned it off?) Are you able to check it? Kind regards Mel -

Hi maverick, reference email: From: admin@corejoomla.com [mailto:admin@corejoomla.com] On Behalf Of CoreJoomla Support Sent: 18 September 2015 18:04 To: MelanieB Subject: Re: [Technical Support] Technical Support Required Hi Melanie, Can you try disable simple modal login module and check once? There are multiple bootstrap css files loaded and this module overrides everything else. ~ Maverick I tried disabling the BT Login module, and then re-tried the reports. This time it opened the Text Responses at the bottom of the page but it only displayed the headers as the response actually went beyond the screen with no way to access it. Do I need all these bootstrap files loaded? Where are they? Kind regards Mel -

Hi, when I go to Reports and view consolidated reports, then click on View Text Responses I get the greyed out overlay box and it is not obvious how to close it. The Cancel button does not work, but there is a very faint x in the centre of the screen, and when I hover over it, it also shows a red cross, which if I click, will close the screen. It isn't clear to users how to escape this box, and users think the screen is locked. Additionally, it is difficult to see the text responses. Is there any way to set this as a white background so the modal box stands out and people can read the text? Or at least not have the entire screen greyed out? I have attached an image to show you what I mean. Kind regards Mel -
MelanieB created new topic Cummunity Surveys Form module styling.
September 8 at 1:28 pm
Hi, I am using the community surveys forms module and want to add some styling to it to make it stand out against my other content. I have tried adding my template modue styling to the custom module css in the Advanced tab, this normally works for other modules, but it is ignored in communitysurveys form. Is there a specific structure I hav to follow to get it to display as I want? kind regards Mel -

MelanieB replied to the topic Deleting a survey questions whilst creating a survey causes hanging.

Hi, I have managed to retrieve most of my survey now by going back on Google Chrome history and saving the screen with questions still appearing on it. So now its just the problem of deleting earlier survey questions whilst the survey is being built in that it hangs with a grey out screen and a spinning cog). Mel
