It is subjective. Choosing an answer is different from entering custom answer which may be just a comment. But this could be a potential target for a new feature. -

Yes, it turns out that (depsite only running one language) we do need languagefilter left on, otherwise the lack of /en/ prefix breaks a lot of hardcoded links... -
