What you have done is incorrect. A user profile menu item cannot be accessed directly. It is just the placeholder for the url structure but actual profile urls will look like this. sitename/menuname/1-username.html These urls are generated wherever required for example when listing the users listing. So all you need is create a cjblog categories or articles listing menu items and point your front-end menu item to it. Then the toolbar shown on front-end will lead you to all required pages. If you want to point a menu item to specific user profile page, just create external url menu item type with the actual url of the profile. -

My installation of Community Answers v3.1 / CjLib API v. 2.3.0 is creating thousands of files in the web root. Files are named index.html?option=com_cjlib.nnn where the number nnn starts at 1 and increments without stopping. The file contents when opened are {"error": ""url" required."} Any ideas what the problem is? -

If you enable the plugins that will automatically shows the buttons, the component do not have any manual operation on showing editor (handled by Joomla itself). Go to article creation page and see if there are buttons visible. If not you are doing something wrong. If the article creation page has buttons but not the quiz creation page, let me know. -

That means the user vote is not being recognized after reloading. Did you selected any vote restriction methods in the CP Options? -

Hello If a user has voted, the results are shown. Once the user reloads the page or leaves the page and returns, the results are gone and the poll is shown again. This does not make sence, if the user can vote just once. So he does not need the poll anymore, but the results instead. Is there a setting for this? Thank you! Patrick -

The page name was designed only for a unique identifier on few users request but never considered for shown on front-end. But yes, its a good idea to show it on front-end. I will add this feature in next revision. -

You are using Survey form module. These buttons are shown in the component only. Use menu item to point to the surveys home page. If you are using private survey, create external url menu item with unique survey url. -

Hi, I have searched the forums and the documentation for this but can't see to find anything to be able to try. I'd like to show the survey page names, on the actual live frontend survey at the top of each survey page questions. If you look at the attached screenshot, you will note the highlighted are top right... the 'Organisational Structure' for e.g. is what I need to show, not the page number, is this possible Maverick please and if so how? Currently it just looks to a responder that it's multiple pages made up of same or similar things, when actually it's not and is divided over very specific pages, that are page named and hence I need to show the page names but can't find an aption for this. I look forward to hearing from you in due course. Regards, -

I tried to reproduce the issue on many setups but I could not. So went into deeper and checked your php configuration and found that you have enabled "Magic Quotes". Any latest PHP installation is supposed to disable this and I strongly believe this is the actual cause. Can you please try disabling this setting? -

The menus can be created manually as well. Its a convenience that the menus are created automatically but in your case the installer cannot do it. So go ahead and create menu items as per documentation. -

The menu items you can call from main menu are: -> Categories Listing-> Articles List All other menus are found on the toolbar of the component. If you have created entire menu structure in a hidden menus, you can use menu alias menu type to point to one of these menu. -
