voting

  • community polls : multiple votes ?

    Hi there,

    we just got community pools : it sounds OK (fonctionaly speaking) to perform what we need to do.

    However, after testing, I have 2 issues :

    1/ I have noticed that if someone was allowedto vote for an election, he had the possibility to vote as many time as he wanted. Is there any way to restrict the number of ballots one can forecast ? In another way : I need the voters to be allowed to vote once and only once.

    2/ I have not found how to automatically notify by mail voters that they where they where called to vote (aka : I would like a mass mail to be sent to call voters when I publish a new poll).

    Note that I work under joomla 3.7.1 with php7 and I use community builder.

    I put voting on for a specific time and time. What else can I set so that after a certain time it is not possible to vote? I would like only the results to be shown after the vote. Is it possible? What else do I need to set?

  • poll buttons not working on component's pages

    hi maverick,

    i have a problem with the voting buttons on of CP, only on the component's poll menu item.

    for example this page (hebrew - buttons below poll in blue and green).

    the voting IS WORKING when i use the Poll Content Plugin to place a poll inside K2 item - for example here.

    i also have Community Survesy installed on the site (with 1 survey published) and is working well on the component's page.

    can you pleas assist in solving this issue?

  • Show results after Voting End date

    Hello,

    I've installed Comunity polls on my Joomla 3.48 site.
    I have set the permission settings, so that guests can vote on my polls.
     Works perfect.

    But if I set a Voting End Date in the past for old polls,
    then guests, normal registeres Users or even Super Users can't see the results anymore.

    What is the correct setting to stop voting for a poll,
    but still show the old results.
