How best can I add a mandatory custom field with drop-down to CjForum?  I'd like the field to refer to a table from which we could pull a list of country for the user to choose one or more options, using "SELECT `iso`, `country`, `continent_full` FROM `country_info`  ORDER BY  continent_full, country"

I'd also like to make sure the field will be searchable using the Search function.

I have created some custom fields I want to show on my tracks en created one field group. All custom fields are linked to the field group, and to all categories so they are shown on all tracks.

I created on new track an filled in all custom fields. That all works fine and I can edit the fields. When I look at the front end however and open the track the custom fields are not showing.

I checked all the settings, privileges etc at several levels. Am I missing something here?

I would like to test polls where "custom answer" is enabled or "stack answer".

On my website, with such settings, when enterring a new answer in the dedicated field with placeholder text "Others, please enter here:, I have the error message "this field is required" when clicking on vote button.

Thus I created a poll on your demo site:

To check if the issue is related to my environment, but I have the same issue on your demo site.

Could you please explain how end users can enter his/her own answer in a poll that allow this? In both cases "enable" and "stack answer".

I have a problem using a custom field width radiobuttons.
After I once clicked the "custom field" option, but then decide to take one of the given options, I can't continue, beacuse the custom field is mandatory...

This only happens, if the survey is inside the template...

Is there a way to not have the custom field mandatory?
