hi maverick, i have a wierd problem with tha languaghe configurations on CP. my site is in hebrew & english but the polls are used only on the hebrew sections - all the menu items, polls, etc, are defined as HEBREW language. but - when i set a category as Hebrew, it doesn't load in the category-choosing-dropdown, when creating or editing a poll. when i set the category languagh back as ALL, it re-apears in the dropdown. the polls themselves are set as Hebrew. not sure if it's related - but i also have a small language problem in k2 - when i try to choose the Item's author in the back-end (on the item creation page), i can't do a search with Hebrew charachtars - only english. so maybe there is some site-width error that is messing up the Hebrew? not sure but thought it was worth mentioning. can you please assit with this problem? thanks yorai ronen -

hi maverick, i have a problem with the voting buttons on of CP, only on the component's poll menu item. for example this page (hebrew - buttons below poll in blue and green). the voting IS WORKING when i use the Poll Content Plugin to place a poll inside K2 item - for example here. i also have Community Survesy installed on the site (with 1 survey published) and is working well on the component's page. can you pleas assist in solving this issue? thanks yorai ronen -

I would like to request an optional function to display a row of small avatar icons for each quiz on the main listing page. This makes it more interesting and social. -

Maverick Been a long time but have just upgraded to the new CP version on new Ratings.Com.Au Need to know how 1/. How to hide the information on polls that displays "registered by xx voter(s)" 2/. How to show the "View Results" first when a visitor views the poll instead of the "Vote Now" 3/. How to hide the "created by .. and date" - Appears to display in cateory view 4/. Hide "Vote Timline" from displaying Will have more questions later -

Hi!How can i add the Facebook Share Button to polls?default_extra.php i found this: <?php if(in_array('fblike', $sharing_services)):?> <a class="addthis_button_facebook_like" fb:like:layout="button_count"></a> <?php endif;?> This only shows the Like Button, is it possible to add the Share Button to? Originally, I thought this was an htaccess bug but Community Polls does not seem to be compatible wih PHP7: After installing PHP7, when submitting a vote using the component or when embedding a poll, voting fails. In console when viewing the component and voting, I get this error: jquery.min.js:5 POST http://DOMAIN.com/polls?task=poll.vote 500 (Call to undefined function MaxMind\Db\Reader\bcadd())send @ jquery.min.js:5m.extend.ajax @ jquery.min.js:5(anonymous function) @ cj.polls.min.js:466m.event.dispatch @ jquery.min.js:4r.handle @ jquery.min.js:4 Reverting to PHP 5.6 allows me to vote again. Using: pkg_cjlib_v2.4.5.zip pkg_communitypolls_v4.4.3.zip PHP 7.0.5 -

You just need to remove the code and clear cache. I can provide you the package but since it will be released this week you may want to wait for it. -

Hello, I would like to test polls where "custom answer" is enabled or "stack answer". On my website, with such settings, when enterring a new answer in the dedicated field with placeholder text "Others, please enter here:, I have the error message "this field is required" when clicking on vote button. Thus I created a poll on your demo site: http://demo.corejoomla.com/polls/poll-categories/84-funny-polls/1124-poll-with-custom-stack-answer.html To check if the issue is related to my environment, but I have the same issue on your demo site. Could you please explain how end users can enter his/her own answer in a poll that allow this? In both cases "enable" and "stack answer". Thank you. -

Hello Maverick, i could'nt find any related thread in the forum so i'm posting a new one. i'm successfully using CP on one of my sites, and with the growin number of polls we're building a new arew on the site which we be dedicated to CP. i'm using Joomla overrides (the usual method) to override all the layouts in the folder '/httpdocs/components/com_communitypolls/views'. but - some of those files 'pull' from 2 common files - polls_list.php & category_list.php - to create the acutal lists of polls / categories, for example in Category Menu Item. these 2 fiels are in the folder '/httpdocs/components/com_communitypolls/layouts/default' (or /bootsrap), which is not in the normal overrdie method we are familiar with. can you please point me in how to override these fiels, if that is possible? thank you very much Yorai -

Hi Maverick, Thank you very much for the reply. i did see this file but i think it's not what i'm looking for. I'm trying to add a CSS class to the 'vote', 'see results', 'back to poll' buttons (i want to add the bootsrap classes: btn-primary, btn-success, etc....). The file you mentioned has this code: <div class="poll-navigation buttons">{actions}<div class="poll-clear"></div></div> It seems like the code '{actions}' is pulling the buttons layout that i want to edit. How can i access the HTML output of '{actions}'? BTW, i did manage to do it in the Random Poll module, where the buttons are writen in the HTML of the template file, and not via the '{actions}' tag. Hallo Maverick, i'm looking to override the HTML output of the "polls anywhere" plugin, when displaying a poll inside a k2 item. i couldn't find the files - or any documentaion or forum discusssion about this. can you please explain to me where is the file i need to edit, to override the "polls anywhere" output? and how should i build the folder structure in my TMP overrides folder? thank you very much yorai -

hello Maverick, i've just installed the latest version of community polls (afcourse with the CJiLIB Component). everything is OK except i can't create new polls. the problem is that the "save" button doesn't work. both on front-end and on back-end. the "cancel" button IS working. from reading related threads on the forum, i'm guessing it's a problem related to JS (i'm not a proggramer so i can't find this one out on my own). i'm using both the latest versions of CP and Joomla, cloudbase3 template. can you pleas advise? for now i can't create any new polls on the site, meaning i can't use CP. thanks a lot in advance yorai
