It seems that, to select the recipient of a PM, the group must be entitled of Access Administration Interface.Otherwise he gets a 403 error. -

Exactly, that's the problem.The user is a vanilla Registered one. Must be some permission, as the admin sees the editor -

Well, the configuration is the same that for TinyMCE, I just switched the editor. I enabled your bodd*** user but if I give the page url you won't be able to edit it... -

Actually I see the native Joomla! (article) categories in the topic Category drop down dialog (and they seem to work fine). -

Populating the topic author alias does not change the author in the front end (like it does for articles) -

Setting JCE explicity gets actually saved, but the JCE menu bar does not show up in the front end. Moreover, the text in the box is not editable... -

I don't think there is a permission level for the cjforum categories, they are inherited... -

Owners can edit their topics only if the Edit permission is allowed.Edit own is not enough.Is it by design? -
