Why not? profiles are public unless you restrict them. Use menu item to restrict if you do not want them public. -

You need Smart Search plugin. Download and install CjForum v3.3.5 and enable Topics Smart Search plugin. -

Profile page is accessible to all users unless you create a profile menu item and restrict it to specific access levels. -

You can hide whole toolbar by disabling Show Toolbar option in the CjForum options. If you want to hide only discover menu, you need to edit the layout file... -

The users with Edit State permissions can see the Lock button on the topic (beside like buttons). You can click on it to lock it. -

Please do not use single topic menu item. It is left for backward compatibility. Use category or listing menu items to show topics. -
