    Where did you get this module? This is not a standard module provided with Community Answers.

    My bad, sorry for the confusion. You can start or end survey not the report and also you can hide the complete report from showing. However the consolidated report will not be time limited. I will add this feature in the upcoming release for the administrator to filter the results. The csv contains all responses however it is pretty easy to filter out based on duration. Simply open file in excel and add a filter.

    I could save the rule for the new survey as well. Please follow below procedure for correctly saving the rules. 1. Enter complete details of your question 2. Save your question so that the app will generate ids for your question and answers3. Now create your rules.

    Is there a way to view consolidated reports based off a time frame? I plan to have one survey constantly open, but I want to only see the report for the past month. Is this possible? Yes, all you need is to set the results up date in your survey. The results will be shown when it crossed that date. I've also noticed some mislabeling/formatting issues. The first is under consolidated report. When looking at any text responses, first it shows total responses as 0 and second, when you click view text responses the labeling for the date and the text answer.. These are the known issues, will be fixed in next release.

    You can use Quizzes List or Category menu items to show quizzes on front-end. In v4, menu items are redesigned, they are optional but will help you in building sef urls.

  • Maverick replied to the topic Community Polls - Hide results but show number of votes.

    September 16 at 3:04 am

    Sure. Here is the process. 1. Add a new field in your form page to accept max answers a user can select. (components/com_communitypolls/views/form/tmpl/default.php). Just duplicate existing textbox element and give it a new name. 2. Now you need to save it in model (models/poll.php, function name: create_or_edit_poll). Again use the code similar to existing field. You may want to change the sql for inserting into the database (in the same function). 3. Now you need to get the newly added column from database while loading poll. In the get_poll_details function (of same file as above), change the select sql statement and add your new DB column to it. 4. Now add front-end validation: components/com_communitypolls/views/poll/tmpl/vote_form.php Here you can add front-end validation. You need to add some attributes in html so that we can validate in javascript. Find this: <input type="<?php echo $input_type;?>" value="<?php echo $answer->id?>" name="answer"> change it to <input type="<?php echo $input_type;?>" value="<?php echo $answer->id?>" name="answer" maxselect="<?php echo $this->item->max_answers;?>"> Now in javascript file media/com_communitypolls/js/cj.polls.min.js add below code in function PollsFactory.init_poll_form $.validator.addMethod('maxselect', function(value, element, params) { var max_selections = params; try{max_selections = parseInt(max_selections);}catch(e){max_selections = 0;} return $('input[name="'+element.name+'"][type="checkbox"]:checked').length <= max_selections;}, $.validator.format($('#msg_validation_max_answers_required').text())); 4. Now add server side validation in model file models/polls.php in the function register_vote

    That feature was introduced in v4, so you can't use it with Joomla 2.5 http://wiki.corejoomla.com/Community_Polls_changelog

    Its your template conflict (some scroller css is hiding it). Add below code in your template css .poll-template .poll-content li { display: block; position: relative; opacity: 1; }

Yes, use surveyresults module to display the consolidated report in any module position. If you want to display inside article, use loadmoduleposition short code to load that module in article.
