Yes, there is a bug in the CA plugin that is causing description not to send, however description will send. Edit plugins/communityanswers/questions/questions.php and fine $activity->length = $params->get('readmore_limit', 0); change it to $activity->length = $params->get('readmore_limit', 180); -

It is pretty much straight forward. Just follow below steps. Install component Configure options (components->gps tools->options button on toolbar). All options are documented over their labels. Make sure to enter Google Maps API key if you want elevation data captured (for gpx files which do not have this data). Also configure permission settings and allow create permissions to required user groups (in same options tab) Optionally create additional categories in components->gps tools->categories page Create menu items to access the component on front-end (https://docs.joomla.org/Adding_a_new_menu_item) You are now good to go. Just add your tracks from frontend. You can draw points on map and ask google to chart them or upload gpx files. -

Looks to be mixing of multiple questions of different types. I have never see question type like this :-) Anyway, I will check if it is possible to add such question type without doing drastic DB changes as the database was designed for same type questions in the grid. -

1. Category Quiz Earn points ( Points / Response ) This is already added. 2. Category Quiz lost points ( Points / Response ) Will add it. 3. Exam does not pass lost points Isn't it same as pt.2? 4. Please add CSV import Quiz It is little difficult and confusing as the questions, answers etc relationships need to be defined properly. Please use xml import feature. -

Aren't they simply another question of type textbox? Probably I can add validation rules on the textbox which allows you to enforce text input as you like using regex. -

I am not sure what else can go wrong, the error clearly shows permission is denied to modify the file. It must be some other restriction on your server which is restricting the script to create or modify file. There is nothing I can do from the coding perspective as this is being restricted at your server level itself. -

Is that file writable by the apache user? what are the file permissions? -

That means your folders are write protected for creating new files at the root folder of your Joomla installation. Please create it manually. -

Edit and check if following line present in the file administrator/components/com_communitysurveys/models/invitebase.php public function inviteUserGroups($limitstart = 0, $limit = 5000) -

Can you please let me know: -> Did you enabled "Community Answers - Questions" plugin?-> Did you selected JomSocial as activity stream component in CA options?-> Did you upgraded from previous version? If yes, from which version?-> What is your Joomla and CA version? -
