It looks like you are talking about editor buttons, can you post a screenshot to understand it better? To disable editor buttons, please go to Extensions -> Plugins... -

Modules are supposed to show limited information, for example on the sidebar. Profile page cannot be fit into a module. -

This issue is caused by some other Author plugin. As far as I remember, this was caused earlier in some of my users websites by the Easy Profile author plugin. Please check if... -
