Empty means there are no tracks in that category. Currently it checks only tracks inside the category but not subcategory. -

The text may be little misleading. current functionality is to display one level categories without checking deeper nodes for performance reasons. -

This is not a bug, working as expected. Categories display is flat structure and not a full tree structure. So it displays one level of categories as per the parameter... -
