Issue 1: because recent activities shows activity list which are plain text and do not refer to any topic etc. The permissions cannot be calculated on plain text. I need to do... -

You are correct. This is because of the duplicate tag in category tab. Will remove it in next release. -

When you disable social tools option, it should automatically hide the buttons + the block with text. But it is not the same in your case; it may be because of any template... -

I can see only 4 topics and all of them are accessible for guests. Can you let me know which topic is not supposed to be accessible?
