The menus will not be created automatically in v2. The error suggests that the database tables could not be created by the installer. This could be caused by issue... -

You should see sharing buttons also above the text if you enable cjsocials plugin from Extensions -> Plugins. If you want to remove the text, go to Components... -

Go to Components -> CjForum -> Options -> Permissions tab -> Make sure view/create topics/replies permission is given to registered user group. -

Search content option will enable searching description of the topic, otherwise only titles will be searched. Enabling plugin is enough to search topics with Joomla search... -

Go to Extensions -> Plugins -> Filter cjforumapps plugins and disable all plugins for which you do not have respective extensions installed.
