GPS tools is one of the most successful extension in our portfolio as well as the most rated one (rated 5 out of 5 on Joomla Extension Directory) and we are exited to go forward with our upcoming release v3.5. I do not want to waste your time anymore and put the road map of the upcoming release here.

• Since Joomla 3 is released, the major buzz word you hear is Bootstrap. If you do not know about this, probably you are outdated ;) .just kidding.. it is the framwork of choice of community for the UI. The simplicity, beatiful components, powerful framework makes it good choice to thousands of people all over the world. By the way, it came from the good people at Twitter. 
  
  So GPS Tools will be based on Bootstrap for both forward and backward compatibility with Joomla 2.5 and above versions. And obviously it is compatible with j3. 
• Fully responsive. Yes finally you can just browse GPS Tools on your mobile devide with same level of power and features.
• Create tracks right inside the component instead of just uploading gpx files. We are still working on it but are hopeful of getting it done asap.
• Tagging support. You can simply tag tracks with one or more tags and browse them by tag. No more worries of one-one assignment of categories and tracks. Yes, you still have categories though.
• Email subscriptions. Users can subscrive and manage their subscriptions for new track notifications.
• Like/dislike buttons for ratings
• Many more new features are awaiting your hands on.
