We are pleased to announce the major update release for GPS Tools v1.5.0. We have rewritten entire core of the component to make use of server side gps file processing instead of client side, their by avoid downloading the gps files on user machine. This will greatly improve the page load time as there is no need to download the file to local computer.

Further to improve performance, we have removed heavy weight Prototype and MapStraction libraries and their by reduced about 250 KB of download data for every new request. This is a great milestone in improving the response time and user interaction.
