Community Builder Activity Stream

Hello
Thank you for this great component. Well worth the cost.
As I had asked previously in the community answers demo I would like to see integration with the new CB Activity Stream. This has been available for a while now and you said you were going to release it in the new version. New version is out but no support for this.

    I spent an hour in searching the API documentation for CB activity before give up. Last release was a full rewrite and has lots of important stuff need to be completed and hence I could not spend more on searching it. If you know any extension already integrated, please let me know. Checking that code is easy than searching cb docs.

    Thats good, I too got the reply but he was expecting a dev membership to get support and explain me about the integration. I am not interested in CB so gave up.

    I finally got a reply quoting your support request, but they are again pointing to the url I mentioned above. From what I understand from his reply that the CB activity stream is not yet completed and is not a usable form. Nevermind, I will dig the code and add the raw insert as cb team suggested.

    That's interesting because I am actually using it at the moment and it has been released as a stable plugin. Appreciate your efforts on this Maverick.

    Ijust checked the reply to my forum post and this is what was said:
    There is no tutorial or documentation. There also really isn't any API. You can use the data usage as follows.

    If unsure how to do this then just insert the activity with a database query. However, there are no CB triggers yet so 3rd party activity won't be able to have custom access controls or custom activity displays. They'd just be raw text/html entries.

    Note this will be significantly improved with next release. Please see the below feature ticket.

    Not sure if you will have access to the forge. Here is what it says:
    API based triggers
    Implement triggers for easily adding new activity through API (same way you'd call CB Captcha for example). Implement triggers for display and access so activity can be altered externally (e.g. allow 3rd party extensions and CB plugins to add activity and change that activities display and access).

    I can see looking on the forge that there will be a major upgrade of the Activity Plugin.
